There are slight functionality differences in Gmail for mobile and desktop. Blocking a domain can only be done via the desktop version, as the mobile version caters to blocking individual senders only. Today we’ll explain both methods and a bunch of other useful Gmail tips.

How To Block a Sender’s Domain in Gmail on an iPhone

From the Gmail app, you can only block an individual sender. However, blocking a domain can be done via the “Create filters” feature available on the desktop.

To block an individual sender via your iPhone:

  1. Sign in to the Gmail app.
  2. Locate and open the email from the sender you want to block.
  3. At the top right of the email, tap on the three-dotted horizontal menu icon.
  4. Select “Block “{sender}” from the pop-up menu.

Moving forward, all incoming messages from that sender will be moved to your spam folder.

To filter all incoming emails from a particular domain:

  1. Sign in to your Gmail account. To create a filter:
    • Using Gmail for desktop on your iPhone, click on the “Create a filter” option towards the top of the screen.
    • Using Gmail for desktop on your PC, select the message from the domain you wish to block. Select the three-dotted horizontal menu icon towards the top of the screen, then choose “Filter messages like these.”
  2. In the filter box, the “From” text field will have the sender’s address. To filter the domain, you can just inspect the email address. If, for example, the message is from [email protected], deleting the name would leave the @example.com part.
  3. Next, click “Create filter.”
  4. Select which action you’d like Gmail to take with messages from this domain, e.g., “Delete it.”
  5. Choose “Create filter” to confirm.

From now on, any messages from that domain will be treated as configured.

Instead, Canva has a wide selection of templates that automatically adjust the dimensions to accommodate different platforms.

However, there’s a way to work around this limitation. You can try manually resizing the page and setting the width and height to Landscape dimensions. Additionally, you can resize individual elements within the design to fit the new orientation. In this tutorial, we’ll explain how to create custom Landscape dimensions for your Canva projects with step-by-step instructions.

The only downside is you’ll need to upgrade to a paid subscription to unlock it. However, there’s a 30-day free trial available if you’re interested in giving it a go.

  4. A drop-down panel will appear. Check the box next to the width and height of the page.
  5. Next, click on the tiny downward arrow to access a drop-down list of measurement units. You can choose between pixels, inches, millimeters, or centimeters.
  6. Set the preferred dimensions. For Landscape mode, you want the width to be larger than the height. For example, if the height is 8 inches, make the width at least 11.
  7. Once you’re done, click the “Resize” button at the bottom-left corner of the panel.
  8. If you want your current design to be intact, click the “Copy and Resize” button at the bottom-right corner. That way, you’ll have created a new copy of the design in Landscape mode.

Since there’s a mobile version of Canva available, you can use the feature on the go. The UI is identical for Android and iOS devices, so the following steps are valid in both cases:

  1. Launch the Canva mobile app and sign in to your account.
  2. At the bottom of the homepage, click on the “Designs” tab. Next, pick a design you want to resize.
  3. If you want to create a new design, select a template from the widget at the top of the screen.

You can use this method for different versions of the Beats Wireless headphones – Beats X, Beats Studio, Beats Solo, and Powerbeats.
