How to Make a Splint in Dayz

Moving around with a splint in DayZ is no picnic. Survivors can’t jump or sprint as the splint limits some mobility. It’s still possible to jog, though, without getting shock damage.

You can also climb with a splint on but it’s a slower process.

That said, knowing how to make and use a splint is crucial for survival in DayZ. Moving with untended broken limbs will cause survivors to go unconscious, leaving them vulnerable to attacks and other hazards.

To ensure you know the basics of healing yourself in DayZ, let’s go through the splint crafting process across all platforms.

How to Make a Splint in DayZ?

Making a splint in DayZ is one of the first things any survivor should learn to do. It’s a simple crafting recipe that requires sticks, and bandages, or rags.

Keep in mind that you need four rags and two sticks to make a single splint. You also need your bandages at 100% along with two sticks to make a splint.
