How to Tree Jump in Shinobi

Did you stumble across the Tree Jump quest in your journal? Or maybe you watched in envy as other players soared through the air? Since there is no tutorial for tree jumping, you’ve probably wondered how to get in on this great secret.

How to Tree Jump in Shinobi Life 2

Although there are no tutorials in-game about tree jumping, many players have figured it out on their own. As it turns out, it’s not that difficult, either.

Discover how to get some air and soar over treetops in Shindo Life (previously known as Shinobi Life 2). Also, keep reading to learn answers to some common questions about the game.

How to Tree Jump in Shinobi Life 2?

When you start a new character in Shinobi Life 2 (now called Shindo Life), the developers at RELL generously give you a short tutorial. The moves are basic, but it includes everything you need to start the game, right?

Unfortunately, there’s a key aspect that they forgot to cover – tree jumping. You need this skill to reach higher levels in the game and to complete at least one quest in the journal. Yet, you won’t be able to find any in-game help about this special move.

Many players figure it out by accident, though. Perhaps the developers planned it this way. Or maybe they thought it was relatively self-explanatory. To tree jump in Shindo Life, simply stand on the flat part of the tree, aim your cursor, and hold down the Space (“jump”) Bar.

You can jump to higher or lower levels simply by aiming your cursor at your destination and holding down the “jump” button. Keep in mind, though, that just because you aim at a tree doesn’t necessarily mean you’ll reach your destination. Your jump distance is tied to your stamina, approximately 2% of it to be exact. If you don’t have much, expect to make shorter jaunts to travel distances.

How to Tree Jump in Shinobi Life 2 on iPhone?

If you’re playing Shindo Life on an iPhone or any other mobile device, tree jumping is a simple step. Like the PC version, simply point your cursor at the desired destination or tree and hold down the “jump” button.

Also like the PC version, your jump distance is tied to your stamina. The more stamina you have, the further you’ll be able to jump.

Here is some more information about Shinobi Life 2.

How Do You Tree Jump and Wall Walk in Shinobi Life 2?

What do tree jumping and wall walking have in common in Roblox’s Shindo Life (formally Shinobi Life 2)? Both actions involve the “jump” button.

To tree jump, you:

• Stand on the flat part of the tree.

• Aim your cursor at your destination.

• Long-press/hold the Space Bar or “jump” button.

Tree jumping distance depends on your character’s stamina, though, so if you’re playing follow-the-leader and your stamina isn’t up to par, you won’t make the distance. A 2% stamina cost also makes it tricky when using tree jumping for fast getaways when you’re engaged in combat.

To wall walk, you:

• Walk your avatar up to a wall.

• Press the “jump” button.

When you press the “jump” button or Space Bar (if you’re on PC) near a wall, your avatar ends up standing on the wall instead of the ground. It’s as if you’re wearing mag-boots. From there, you’re free to run across walled surfaces to your heart’s content.

What Is Jutsu in Shinobi Life 2?

When Shinobi Life 2 was first created, it was meant to be a fan adaptation of Viz Media’s popular anime and manga, Naruto. The game used many of the same elements you would find in the Naruto-verse. Since it’s re-branding to Shindo Life, RELL was forced to give up many of the copyrighted elements of Viz Media’s popular franchise, including images and names.

However, some aspects remained like the game’s use of “Jutsu” or ninja abilities. Rather than the three Jutsu types seen in Naruto, Shindo Life has two main ones: elements and bloodlines.

Bloodline abilities are obtainable via spins, which is why players scour the internet looking for more. The more spins you have, the more likely you are to get a rare ability.

Elements, on the other hand, dictate the types of elemental attacks a player can use. The more elements you collect, the more diverse your ninjutsu arsenal.

These main types are further broken down into sub-abilities or Jutsu.

You can search for Jutsus throughout the world and unlock them via their associated scrolls. Some scrolls may be obtained via purchase in the store menu. Others are only obtainable if you’re in the right place at the right time, i.e., spawn times and locations. Most of the scrolls also have an additional stat requirement to unlock.

For example, Ember Hurricane is obtainable for 35,000 Ryo, but you also need to have the following stats to unlock it:

• Lvl: 240

• Tai: 800

On the other hand, you have to go out into the world to find Jutsu like Spirit Bear. It does have stat requirements like:

• Lvl: 800

• Tai: 4,300

• Ryo: 250,000

Along with meeting these stats, though, you also have to go to the Training Fields near the three training logs at approximately 1:50 in-game. You have a one in seven chance of getting it if you show up at the right place and time.

How Do You Redeem Codes in Shinobi Life 2?

The developers of Shindo Life like to help players out with codes that offer things like in-game rewards and free spins, and they give them out frequently.

If you’re one of the lucky players who gets their hands on an active code, head to your game to redeem them:

1. Launch Shindo Life.

2. Press the arrows and cycle to “Edit.”

3. Select “Edit.”

4. On the right side of the screen, you’ll see a text box that says, “[YOUTUBE CODE].” Paste/type the code into the box and press “Enter.”

5. If your code is still active, a message saying, “CODE ACCEPTED!” will flash in the redemption box. If the code is expired, nothing happens.

6. Click inside the redemption text box and repeat the steps to redeem another code or exit out of the Edit menu.

Tree Jump Your Way to New Heights

Tree jumping is a great way to explore your environment or evade enemies. It’s also a preferred way to fast-travel to different locations. Just remember that your tree jumping success depends on your character’s stamina. If you were doing activities that ate up your stamina, you may want to refrain from jumping larger distances until it goes back up again.

How often do you use tree jumps in Shindo Life? Did you figure it out on your own or did you look up a tutorial online? Let us know in the comments section below.
